Dear Tammy, et al

I undertook a survey this time last year of 54 foreign
language software producers to see what their
intentions were with regard to producing materials for
Mac OSX. In all, I received a total of 29 replies from
the 54 requests I sent out. Since Mac supporters are
usually not shy about reporting their development
plans, I think it would be safe to assume that there
would be very few OSX developers among the 25
producers that did not respond. Of the responses I
received only 3 said they would definitely produce
materials for OSX. Another 3-4 indicated that they
might give it consideration in the future. Granted,
the situation may have changed in the past year, but
if so I haven't seen any signs of it in the software
that is being submitted for review in the CALICO
Journal. Jack
