Does anyone know anything about the Panasonic digital media editor,
PV-DS1000? According to the specs, you can import VHS (or DVD) formats,
edit it in DV format, and then export it as either DV or VHS. It has 17
GB hard disk memory, so you don't need to use space on a PC. Do you
know what quality the final product is....is it as good as the original
that was on VHS, or is there a big loss of resolution? Can something
edited here and then exported to a VHS tape be of good enough quality to
watch on a 27"TV or projected by a video projector? It costs less than
two editing quality VHS/SVHS recorders.
