Hi Ruckus!

I wanted to bump this invitation–there are still a few spots left on the retreat coming up this April 18 – 21! You can learn more here.

If you’re interested but aren’t able to cover the cost, please reach out as we can connect you with financial scholarship resources.

Warmly,

Rachel

Subject: Climate Action Mindfulness Retreat in April

Hi all,

I wanted to share an exciting we have been co-planning for spring 2024, as part of our climate hope work.

This event is off site. It is part of our collaboration with a group of monastics from a monastery which practices in the Thich Nhat Hahn tradition. The monastics (including a Dartmouth ’97) are on the east coast to host programming at the Thich Nhat Hanh Center for Mindfulness in Public Health at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and to host programming at Dartmouth (supported by Diane Gilbert-Diamond in the medical school and the Design Initiative at Dartmouth). The week of April 22 (Earth Week), we will be hosting a shorter, on campus climate and mindfulness event with them.  However, they are hosting a special climate focused retreat offsite and I wanted to make you aware of it.

Please join us if you are needing a spring reset (are comfortable with the mindfulness practices of this tradition which are non religious)!

Please feel free to share with any who might be interested,

Rosi
