Hi Everyone! We wanted to share the various finals week support opportunities sponsored by the Academic Skills Center! We're wishing you the best as you head into finals!! Your HPP Team! Here is what's happening at the Academic Skills Center this week. Thank you for letting your students know about the ways the ASC can help them finish winter term strong. We have programming today through Thursday to support their academic wellbeing during finals! In addition to our FFB Finals Work-a-thon on Wednesday, we're encouraging students to come study in our space from 9 AM - 4 PM on Thursday 3/7. We have a quiet space within the library with snacks, handouts, and white boards galore! PLEASE NOTE: We've been adding new content to the ASC Blog<https://sites.dartmouth.edu/learning/>! [Image] Get It Done! is a program designed for student academic success through ensuring accountability. These 90-minute sessions are hosted four times a week by one of our ASC team members to allow students to make progress on their work in a focused environment. We facilitate timed work sessions, are available for check-ins and support, and break up the work with a mix of mindfulness and mingling. Services include focused studying in Get it Done! sessions, Drop-in Academic Coaching for students who need support for their finals, Subject Librarians with resources for research and citations, and Writing Tutor drop-in hours from 2-9 PM.
