Subject: An exciting job opportunity for graduating seniors

Dear Rae and Dartmouth team,

I hope you have been well. As you recall from our prior correspondence, I am Director of the Orthopedic and Arthritis Center for Outcomes Research at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School. We are hiring for research assistant positions and we would appreciate if you could circulate the attached announcement to interested seniors. The positions will be of interest to seniors considering careers in medicine, public health, public policy, economic evaluation and related fields.

As usual, we are interested in individuals that will graduate in May 2024. We have hired dozens of college seniors over the last 10-15 years for a 2+ year experience in clinical and policy research relating to musculoskeletal disorders. Many students then move on to medical school, graduate school in public health (and a few to other graduate programs in economics, law, etc). Our research environment is lively, collegial and challenging; the research assistants have enjoyed the experience without exception.

We have three wonderful Dartmouth graduates in our group at present. Lily Waddell is amazing and is applying to medical school this fall/winter. Love Tsai and Caty Brown joined us in July '23 and are making exception contributions to our work and culture. We would love to continue the Dartmouth tradition at OrACORe.

The job description (attached) provides directions for students to apply. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Many thanks

Best,

Jeff
