Practicing with Humanity During a Mass Casualty Event: A physician reflects on the Boston Marathon bombing

Date: Wednesday, November 1, 2023
Seminar: 6:00 to 7:15 P.M. EDT
Location: Zoom

Join us!

Join Dartmouth’s Prof. Elizabeth Carpenter-Song and Dr. Manish K. Mishra in a conversation with our guest, Dr. Ken Marshall, as he reflects on this pivotal experience.

Dear Rae,

Dr. Marshall was the senior resident in the emergency department at Beth Israel Deaconess on the day of the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013. That experience 10 years ago continues to guide his thinking about responsibility and equity in the care he delivers today.
