Email for students from DCSI:

The Dartmouth Center for Social Impact (DCSI) is offering a funded fellowship opportunity focused on climate change and sustainability in the Upper Valley.

This opportunity is through our Upper Valley Community Impact Fellowship (UVCIF) program, which funds students to complete a strategic project over the course of 3-4 terms for a local nonprofit. The application for a new project just opened under this program, set to take place beginning in 23F or 24W. You can learn more about this new project and apply here.

Through the UVCIF, you would be co-designing elements of this project in partnership with DCSI and the host organization. The general theme of the project is meant to focus on addressing climate change and advancing environmental sustainability – the details of the project will be determined based on your interest, skillset, and innovative solutions you develop based on the identified need of the organization.

Below is an outline of what the process will look like:

-          Applications received on a rolling basis (early applications encouraged – first review of apps will be August 21)

-          DCSI will interview and select a Fellow based on general fit for the program

-          Fellow and DCSI will start working together to select one of the host organizations to work with (currently TRORC or CRC).

-          Fellow will begin work with host organization and continue to scope a project with support from DCSI – scoping process will include organization needs and the Fellow’s inputs around potential areas for innovation

DCSI highly encourages you to reach out to [log in to unmask] to discuss your application.

Hopefully some of you will considering applying and help support addressing climate change in our local community!
