Hello Dear Colleagues,

Thank you very much for helping to get the word out to your students about the ASC’s programming.

Please keep in mind that our website is updated every week with the latest programming events: https://students.dartmouth.edu/academic-skills/programs/outreach

Starting this term we have drop-in (although RSVPs are helpful) programs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Here’s what’s happening next week:

Have you reached the point of the term where social time, exercise, and time outside have fallen by the wayside? If so, come by the ASC this week to get a dose of all three! We will gather at the ASC in Berry 178 at 3:30 PM and venture out for a brisk walk around Occom Pond. Please dress for the weather!

Tea and cookies will be served, as always!

These 90-minute sessions will allow you to make progress on your work in a focused environment. Come once a week, come twice a week, or drop-in throughout the term when you need more accountability to get things done. These Get It Done sessions are hosted by an ASC team member in our beautiful Garden Room every Wednesday and Friday. We will facilitate timed work sessions, be available for check-ins and support, and break up the work sessions with a mix of mindfulness and mingling.

RSVP for Wednesday, February 8

Group Tutoring is offered for select academic courses each term. Tutoring groups are led by trained student leaders who have received an A/A- in the course and have been recommended by the course instructor. Tutoring groups meet three times weekly for 1-hour sessions. To see the list of tutoring groups for the term and to register, visit our Group Tutoring page.

Thank you very much for all your help, and your amazing dedication to our students. Wishing you a warm and safe weekend.
