Hi Everyone!

Welcome back to campus! We hope you had a restful and fulfilling break.

We have some great programming planned for you all this month which we hope you can attend!


As part of the MLK Celebration calendar, the William Jewett Tucker Center and the Dartmouth Philosophy Society are happy to host the event "Bending Towards Justice: Religious and Secular World Views" on Jan. 17th, 6 -7:30pm in Collis Common Ground. Food will be catered from Boloco.
The student speakers- Mursal Ehsan '26, Sreeja Poduri 'GR, Jessica M. Chiriboga '24, Jordan B. Narral '25, Blake J. Whitmer '23, and Anthony W. Fosu '24- will discuss their understandings of and commitments to Justice, drawing on worldviews that inspire them. Dinner and table discussion will take place following the student panelists’ remarks.

The Rollins Chapel (the grey stone and red brick building near Dartmouth Hall) is re-opening on January 26th! The space will be used for a multitude of Tucker Center and HOP events.
We will be having a re-dedication ceremony with performances and prayers by students at 5pm on the 26th. There will be tours of the space from 12pm to 4pm that day.

We now have a calendar of weekly events hosted by the Tucker Center and our United Campus Ministers. These include prayer services, social events, and more. You can see the calendar here<https:[log in to unmask]>.

Join the Tucker Center every Tuesday at 5:30pm in room 105 South Fairbanks for conversations over dinner around our worldview identities and the values we have in common across the lines of faith and belief difference.

The Student Wellness Center opened their "Tranquility Room" (final name tbd) yesterday, in their space in Baker. The room is a space for students to relax, meditate, and pray- there are yoga mats and prayer mats available within the space. It is open during the Student Wellness Center's operating hours.

On Wednesday January 18, the Geisel School of Medicine will be opening their interfaith prayer room on the 2nd floor of the Remsen Building.
