I’m a Dartmouth ‘19 and I’ve worked in a clinical research job for the past 2 years. I’m leaving my position and would love to circulate the application to the pre-health folks at Dartmouth since I know getting those emails helped me a lot.

Here's the official link, folks should apply through this: https://jobs.brassring.com/1033/ASP/TG/cim_jobdetail.asp?partnerid=368&siteid=5205&Areq=59105BR<https://nam12.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fjobs.brassring.com%2F1033%2FASP%2FTG%2Fcim_jobdetail.asp%3Fpartnerid%3D368%26siteid%3D5205%26Areq%3D59105BR&data=04%7C01%7CHealth.Professions.Program%40dartmouth.edu%7C416e66c9e1b44a6e300208d91fa2380f%7C995b093648d640e5a31ebf689ec9446f%7C0%7C0%7C637575603853185360%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=oN08FVRyttlv7r2MlSUhrWeqpHlP%2BKQuVooeoYnWjc4%3D&reserved=0>.

My own experience:

Hi! I've worked as a clinical research coordinator in the GI department at Boston Children's Hospital for the past two years and am moving on to grad school. I'd love to find someone really enthusiastic to take over the position. I do research in a few different areas: the microbiome and C. diff infections, fecal transplantation and other microbial therapeutics, and inflammatory bowel disease. I recruit patients, attend procedures, do data entry and chart review, write papers, do regulatory work with the IRB and FDA, and do some lab processing and analysis. It's been a great way to work with patients and a variety of healthcare providers, as well as spend a lot of time in a clinical setting. Although my work is independent, there's a large family of research coordinators that I work with each week and it's such a positive, collaborative space. Past coordinators have gone on to do all sorts of things - med school, PA school, MPH, public policy, PhD, yoga teacher, etc. It's a great place to figure out what you want to do next.

If you have any questions, feel free to email me at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>. You will need to apply at the official link here<https://nam12.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fjobs.brassring.com%2F1033%2FASP%2FTG%2Fcim_jobdetail.asp%3Fpartnerid%3D368%26siteid%3D5205%26Areq%3D59105BR&data=04%7C01%7CHealth.Professions.Program%40dartmouth.edu%7C416e66c9e1b44a6e300208d91fa2380f%7C995b093648d640e5a31ebf689ec9446f%7C0%7C0%7C637575603853195353%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=2vWuhZuvnO%2FzgBo4Cxbty7xTxGpuEQmpiWXkHjRi2sg%3D&reserved=0>. An important note is that it's a 2-year commitment, and we're looking to find someone who wants to start in June or July 2021.
