Professor Anne Merilld Hansen, PhD, Ilisimatusarfik (University of Greenland), and The Danish Centre for Environmental Assessment, Aalborg University, Denmark, will introduce the history of oil in the Arctic and talk about the social impacts known to be related to large scale industrial development.
