Tonight is ssam. Ssam is a dish in Korean cuisine that's made by wrapping meat or other filling in a leafy vegetable. We'll have pan-seared sirloin or toju and mushrooms, sticky rice, a bevy of sauces, as well as kimchii on the side. Also yakwa, which is a Korean pastry, in a honey ginger syrup.
