FRESH CHECK DAY - Thursday, 5/11 (10:00am to 2:00pm)
  • Stop by Dartmouth's mental health fair for therapy dogs, massages, free food, and more! A great study break and a chance to promote awareness of an important campus issue.  
  • Held on Mass Row.  

SPRING FLING - Friday, 5/12 (4:00 to 6:00pm)
  • Help out by planning and hosting a booth for Dartmouth Youth Education Mentoring kids. Booth ideas include pie your mentor, cookie decorating, and relay races.
  • Held on Gold Coast Lawn.

SPECIAL OLYMPICS - Saturday, 5/13 (9:00am to 1:30pm)
  • Make this event fantastic for all the kids by timing the races, cheering, presenting awards, and helping out with meals! You can sign up individually or in a group.

Opportunities with Our Community Partners
THE HAND TO HEART PROJECT - 1 to 2 hours weekly with flexible timing
  • Gain marketing experience and volunteer at a local nonprofit by updating and reworking the Hand to Heart Project's Facebook and web-page to make them more accessible and informative
  • The Hand to Heart Project is a small nonprofit program that offers free in-home massage and compassionate touch to people with cancer.

MAYNARD HOUSE - Thursday, 5/11 (5:30-7:00pm)
  • Bring positivity and good conversation to adult patients who are receiving care at local medical centers. Meet at the HOP couches at 5:20 to walk over to Maynard House. 
  • Maynard House provides home-like overnight accommodations for adult patients receiving treatment at Upper Valley medical centers as well as their caregivers and families.

DISMAS HOUSE - Friday, 5/12 (4:00-6:00pm)
  • Prepare a meal at Dartmouth then share dinner at Dismas House.
  • Dismas House brings former offenders and the community together by providing shelter and support for men and women transitioning from incarceration to new lives.

UPPER VALLEY HAVENflexible timing
  • Volunteer at the UV Haven in a variety of ways depending on your skills.
  • The Haven provides support to people struggling with poverty by providing food, shelter, education, service coordination, and other support.
  • Contact the volunteer coordinator, Amber Johnston, to get involved.
