"In this play, written by Jane Cawthorne, twenty three women reveal the details of their lives, relationships and families as they tell the stories of their abortions. Sometimes funny, sometimes heartbreaking, but always thought provoking, these monologues exist in stark contrast to the real world in which women seldom publicly discuss this choice...The characters in this play challenge you to think again about what you believe and why you believe it" (from: http://janecawthorne.com/publications/plays/)

This play is being organized by the Giesel student group called Dartmouth Med-Students for Choice, and is being directed by Hetty Thomae, an Upper Valley community member. Cast members only have to attend 2 rehearsals before the performance, and do not need to memorize any lines. No prior experience with theater is necessary, and all gender identities are welcome to sign up to be a part of the cast.
