Hi, everyone.

The Dartmouth Political Times is a new, nonpartisan publication on campus this term. In the wake of the election, we’re soliciting submissions of op-ed style articles from anyone on campus. We welcome any viewpoint on any aspect of the election and its aftermath, provided that it is well-researched and relies on logical argumentation, without recourse to rhetoric.

Now, more than ever, we feel that it is imperative to air contrasting opinions and foster dialogue across ideological divides. In today's polarized political climate, it’s too easy for each of us to retreat into communities of likeminded people. Painful as it may be, listening to the views of others is the first step in understanding the outcome of this election and creating the change we want to see in this country.

If you have an idea for an article, please respond to this email with a quick summary; if you have questions, we’re more than happy to answer them. We look forward to working with you.
