The Center for Service has FOUR SUMMER internship funding programs!

1. The DPCS Boston Community Health Internship program, a 9-week summer opportunity pairs interns with healthcare leaders in Boston, MA. Students are assigned to non-profit organizations based on their areas of interest, are paired with an alumni mentor who is working in healthcare, and participate in weekly educational programming. Housing is arranged for interns, who live together, and a stipend for food and transportation is provided.

2. We are launching a brand-new program in San Francisco, focused on non-profit leadership this summer! The program will be based on the Boston cohort model and thus include "informal educational components" such as weekly seminars, living together as a cohort, and an alumni mentor. This is a great opportunity if you want to learn more about the senior leadership, administrative and development aspects of non-profits!

3 &4. We also offer up to $4000 in funding for students to "design their own" full-time internships with established non-profits throughout the US or internationally. Students applying to the Boston program are encouraged, but not required, to ALSO apply to the domestic design your own opportunities!
