Amnesty International and the U.S. Department of Justice found that
1 in 3 Native women will be raped in her lifetime, the highest statistic of any other demographic.
Alpha Pi Omega Sorority, Inc. is selling buttons ($2) in recognition of these women at the 43rd
Annual Dartmouth Powwow,
today in Leede Arena 12-7pm. All proceeds will be donated to the
Native Women's Association of Canada to support their efforts to end discrimination against Indigenous women.
