Brought to you by Movement Against Violence (MAV)

and the Center for Gender and Student Engagement (CGSE)

The White Ribbon Campaign is a worldwide effort led by men to end violence against women. Wearing a white ribbon is a symbol of opposition to this violence and a personal pledge to "never commit, condone, or remain silent about violence against women and girls."

MAV has slightly modified the WRC this year to empower men to stand up against sexual violence in general. We decided to make the movement more specific to the violence that is most commonly perpetrated against women at Dartmouth and include the many survivors of sexual violence who do not identify as female.
