DOC FALL WEEKEND 2014

What? A suite of outdoor trips that run simultaneously and all end at Dartmouth's very own Moosilauke Ravine Lodge for dinner, live folk music, and good old-fashioned fun. Trip options will include hiking, kayaking, climbing, mountain biking, and organic farming.

How? Sign-ups for all trips will take place in the lobby of Robinson Hall, from 12 PM to 3 PM on Tuesday (tomorrow!) AND Wednesday afternoons. Robinson is the big brick building on the west side of the Green.

When? This coming Saturday, October 4th. Times vary, with most (but not all) starting in the AM and ending in the PM, with the option to stay over at the Lodge (highly encouraged). One or two trips will leave Saturday PM, eat dinner and stay over at the Lodge, then go adventuring on Sunday.

Where? The wilds of New Hampshire and the L-O-D-J Lodge! Remember that magic place? Darn right you do.

Who? Anyone! Seriously, no outdoor experience is necessary to participate - just a healthy sense of adventure!

The Cost? $10 for everyone, whatever the trip. Financial aid is available.

Blitz this account or [log in to unmask] back with any questions!

Why? Fun. Adventure. New friends. Old friends. And very importantly, the UNREAL fall foliage up in the mountains right now. Seriously, look out your window and multiply what you see by 10 and that's what's going on up there right now.

A Final Plug?: Fall Weekend is an awesome opportunity to get away from campus for a while, recenter yourself for the rest of the term, and learn about the Outing Club and/or the many outdoor opportunities that exist for you at Dartmouth, in the Upper Valley, and in life. And whether you're a '15, an '18, or anywhere in between, it's never too late (or early) to do any of that!
