Hood Museum of Art Director Michael Taylor presents a gallery talk about Henri Michaux, whose No.8 (1960) is in the museum’s permanent collection. Learn about Michaux’s characteristic style of ink drawing which provided inspiration for choreographer Marie Chouinard.

Compagnie Marie Chouinard is an original and provocative Montreal-based dance troupe that displays fearless imagination and sensuality. In Henri Michaux: Mouvements, dancers interpret projected India ink drawings by Belgian poet and artist Henri Michaux.
