In the United States, 20 million women and 10 million men suffer from a clinically significant eating disorder at some time in their life, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, or an eating disorder not otherwise specified (EDNOS) (Wade, Keski-Rahkonen, & Hudson, 2011)

As part of Eating Disorder Awareness Week 2014, there are many ways to learn more about how to become more aware of this issue and to help members of our community who may be struggling.

Below are opportunities to get resources and speak with an EDPA:
Wednesday (2/26) 12pm-2pm- Stop by the EDPA table in Collis lobby for info on how to recognize an eating disorder and talk to a friend

Friday (2/28) 1-3pm- Stop by EDPA office hours to speak to an EDPA about any questions or concerns you may have. These will be held in the Robo 3rd floor suite, office 313.

Lastly, feel free to contact EDPA by blitz at any time with questions!
