Dear Dartmouth,

I wanted to offer my deepest thanks to those of you who gathered on the Green last night, despite the freezing weather, to stand in solidarity with the recent survivor of the Bored@Baker attacks and all survivors of sexual violence.

I’m also asking you to do more.

I’m proud that so many of you turned out to show your support, but we can’t pretend that sexual assault disappears because we came together and sang the alma mater. We must take action now to prevent further violence:

Log into ImproveDartmouth, and up-vote a zero tolerance sexual assault policy. Send a message to the administration that sexual assault is unacceptable in our community.
