Zaki, the only child of ambitious Nigerian immigrants, is constantly learning things the hard way. When her mysterious grandmother moves in, things take a turn for the magical. But even her new found power doesn’t help Zaki deal with the reality of trauma, tradition, and loss.

Lou-Lou Igbokwe '10 was a Dartmouth Senior Fellow and former director of BUTA. She culminated by premiering Black Girls Anonymous a play based on over one hundred interviews with women at the college. After graduating in 2010, Lou-Lou went on to complete graduate studies at NYU Tisch in Singapore in the writing program and is now working in New York City at the Roundabout Theater.
