Are you interested in climbing? Maybe you went on a First Year Trip and loved it, or went to the gym that one time, but haven't really figured out how to get involved since? Maybe you've never gone climbing, but would love to try? Want to meet fun people and make new friends to climb with? Interested in learning specific skills but not sure who to ask? Trying to procrastinate your final paper?

Introducing the new Dartmouth Mountaineering Club's Climbing Groups (working name) program!  Designed for beginners (and all levels of ability, really), the idea of this program is to help people meet other interested students to hang out and climb with and to connect more experienced members of the club with people who are excited about getting into climbing.

You'll be matched up with a small group of people and an experienced climber who will act as the "point person" for your group. They'll be a great resource for any questions you have and will always be up to at least go to the climbing gym, if not outside, and your small group will be a great way for you to meet people and find other students to go climbing with.

Please let us know if you have any questions about climbing or this program!
