Why is this an important community service?  Hannah House has provided services to pregnant and parenting teens since 1988.  The organization recently closed its residential program and is preparing to sell the property in order to raise funds to continue other services for pregnant and parenting teens in the Upper Valley.  We need to clear out the building as soon as possible so that it will be ready for a future buyer. 

 

The project:  Hannah House has 25 years worth of files to clear out of the building.  Most files and notebooks will be either destroyed or recycled.  Many of the files will need to be retained for years to come in accordance with file retention guidelines.  The retained files must be clearly organized and prepared to be moved to off-site storage. We are looking for TWELVE volunteers to help on March 2^nd.

 

What you’ll be doing – Going through several rooms with files and boxes to sort out items for storage, recycling or destruction.
