Dartmouth 2013 Global Health and Development Case Competition

 

CASE COMPETITION INFORMATION SESSION:

TUESDAY, January 22nd

Carson L01 (1st floor of library next to Novack)

7:30 PM

 

Featuring last year's Emory Case competition participants!!!

 

WHODartmouth Undergrads, Geisel, TDI, Tuck, Thayer, and other Graduate students (and YOU!

 

WHATCompete in teams against one another with a real global health and development problem and create a solution that will go into effect in the region that is covered by the case! Prizes go to the top teams of the competition. The keynote speaker of the competition is Tuck Professor Gregg Fairbrothers, to be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 16th at Raether Hall (Tuck).

                                                                                                                                                             

WHERE: Haldeman and Tuck.

 

FACULTY JUDGES/MENTORS:  Dr. Lisa Adams, Dr. Jaime Bayona, Michael Cox, Dr. Carolyn Murray, Dr. Maka Tsulukidze, Jack Wilson, and Mike Zubkoff.

 

WHEN: Teams announced on February 6th. Official competition starts on the 11th. Team presentations, judging, and reception on the Saturday, February 16th. 

 

WHY: Work with a diverse background of Dartmouth students to produce a solution to a real problem affecting a country. See the winning proposal be put into action! Real case. Real solutions.

 

Prizes include: $1,500 in prize money for the top teams and follow up with the NGO in focus by the case.

 

APPLICATIONS DUE JANUARY 29 AT 11PM.
