On
September 29 - 30 (Saturday and Sunday) Dartmouth and the Upper Valley
community will have a unique opportunity to learn Sanskrit in a workshop
held at Dartmouth College. This workshop will be conducted by expert
teachers from Samskrita Bharati, an international non-profit
organization dedicated to encouraging the use of Samskritam (Sanskrit)
in daily life. This is a free event with lunch and snacks served both
days for those that attend all sessions. The teaching will be interactive, engaging, and fun. We invite
you to avail of this stimulating opportunity. We guarantee that you
will leave the workshop energized and enthused to learn more Sanskrit.
No prior knowledge of Sanskrit is assumed. If you already speak or
understand an Indian language, it is very easy to pick up Sanskrit.
(However, you can benefit from the workshop even if you do not know any
Indian language.) This workshop is part of an intensive campaign that
is being conducted all over the country. For details of this campaign
and the benefits of learning Sanskrit, please see the attached flyer.
