Description: Selected
students will talk with “guru” scientists informally over lunch and challenge them with questions or concepts relevant to their field allowing you plenty of time to network in a casual setting. Any number of other career or mentor opportunities could develop
as a result of this lunch.
THIS IS YOUR CHANCE…
To apply:
(1)Go
to the E.E. Just Program Blackboard site, click on the "E.E. Just Symposium" folder and prepare respond to the following questions:
a. Which
Guru are you interested in sharing lunch with? Why?
b. What
issue/dilemma/observation/scientific challenge or point of curiosity would you like to present to your Guru?
2 (2) Please video record your response via smartphone or other equipment. Your response
must be less than 3 minutes. If you choose not to record your response, you may write a 2-3 page essay response.
(3) Upload your response (essay or digital file) via the Blackboard E.E. Just Symposium
folder.
Deadline to Apply: Wednesday,
Sep 19th. “Lunch with the GURU” winners will be notified no later than Friday, September
21st.
