About WPED: World Partners in Education at Dartmouth seeks to bring together students from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds to create, organize, and implement projects and services to raise awareness for education inequality and to improve educational practices and standards around the world. The organization facilitates a campus-wide discourse with open discussion, film screenings, and lectures. Through a unique affiliation with World Partners in Education, a 501(c)(3) national non-profit, the organization also fundraises and collects resources for joint WPE and WPED projects in partner communities, and guides prospective volunteers through the challenges of working on the ground.
