Helen Damon-Moore has been at Dartmouth College as Director of Service and Education for the Tucker Foundation for four years.  She came to Dartmouth from the Carver College of Medicine and before that from Cornell College in Iowa.  There she was an adjunct professor of Women’s Studies and Education and the founder of the office of Volunteer Service and Service Learning.  She graduated from Beloit College and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she wrote her dissertation on gender and magazines.  She is currently a member of the board of directors of the Family Place and of the United Valley Inter-Faith Project, and she is a practitioner of mindfulness.  She is married and has two grown daughters.
