The Niger Delta has endured an oil spill the size of the Exxon Valdez spill every
year for the last 50 years, decimating the environment and the lives of the impoverished
Nigerian people.

Life expectancy in the Niger Delta has now fallen to 40 years. In 1956 when oil
was first discovered, life expectancy was well into the 60's.

But the international community is doing nothing. What if we pay attention before
it's too late?

Come watch Sweet Crude, a 2009 documentary that tells this high stakes story.
