Rather than focusing on the double-digit price, I would insist on something
that has a remote. I have a nice Sony I bought myself that was $147 last
year. In my opinion, not being locked to a certain position in the
classroom is a real boon.

I am about to purchase several portable CD and cassette players. Does
anyone have a recommendation for a durable, light weight, not-too-big model
with a two-digit price?
Thanks.
