I heard a probable loon just now, my brain pretty much ignored it because we are so used to them here at Goose Pond. Second call—what?! Third call,  definitely loon.

It’s rather special because GP has been drained for dam repairs, doubt nesting possibilities for loons this summer.  Wildlife concerns in general, but dam repairs critical.

Please post loon sittings in neighboring water bodies…
