Goose Pond continues to be drained, lots of changes as mud flats and boulders emerge.  Seems like many more migrating waterfowl than ever.

100+ Snow Buntings a few days ago, then small groups every day. Today, at midday, 16 Common Mergansers, males flashing white, many many mallards, geese.  Last loon calling Nov 9.  First goldfinches and purple finches in the yard since spring.
