Many of us, including myself, often wake to count the many aches and pains our aging bodies are experiencing. However, there are many pleasures associated with the extra time that comes with semi-retirement. One of them is building a bluebird house from scrap wood with your grandsons this past summer. Another is sipping coffee, while watching a pair of bluebirds inspecting the house on a sunny, February 22 morning. They are gone now; I hope they return.
