Elaine, the grosbeaks at my feeders do the same thing, but so do all of the birds that come to the feeders. Each species is active at almost the same time every day. Maybe you noticed this in the grosbeaks because they stand out so much, with their brilliant colors and loud calls. jenn royalton, vt
