This is the first I’ve heard about it. Checking eBIrd, the record is quite true as there are excellent photographs and even a voice recording. Interestingly, a scattering of reports from across the northern tier of states exists including from the Montreal area in 2008 and in New England from CT (2017) and the coast of ME (2007). According to the eBIrd report, the owner wanted this to be kept secret, alas; if word had gotten out, there indeed would have been a deluge of birders wanting to see it.
