I don’t know how this happened; I thought I had posted the following yesterday while I was still there behind the Walmart Plaza. Anyway, here is the original message verbatim.

A Sora put on an incredible show at the very edge of the marsh opposite the Walmart Outdoor Department fence around 4 pm this afternoon. It was feeding and occasionally giving the “whinny” call as well as the “Kerwee” . Heard a possible second individual. Also present were two, possibly three, Virginia Rails. The Least Bittern was neither seen nor heard, but I did spot a Green Heron.

People should check for the Least Bittern as there have been a couple of sightings from far southern NH, and in VT at Dead Creek and in Orange County. If not back already, it should be soon.
