We made a short hike up Signal Hill in Lebanon to check status of our bird boxes. One very young family of Tree Swallows remaining.
Enjoyed watching and listening to a female/or immature Northern Harrier, making a few high passes over both fields during our visit.
It was interesting reading later in Sibley about the wide array of flight shapes that the Harrier displays, as it was initially confusing me until I finally spotted that white rump!
