Thanks to Kathy Thompson’s mid-morning eBird report, I’m right not watching a Common Gallinule foraging sling the edge of the dense Phragmites stand to the right of the road at the entrance to Kendall Station. It retreated briefly into the Phragmites, but has been out in plain sight for the past several minutes.
I hope others are able to see this very uncommon Upper Valley visitor!
