Afternoon walk along the Mascoma Greenway, spotted a faint white oblong shape in the far distant trees on opposite side of meandering section of Mascoma River. Turned out to be a Red-tailed Hawk surveying the adjacent lowlands, sifting around to display a beautiful red tail in the afternoon sun.
Finally made a dive down into the underbrush and disappeared.
Is it apparent that I have a lot of time on my hands ?
