I had a black squirrel last summer. Yesterday I had a Mockingbird on my suet feeder.

Regulars include downy, hairy, and pileated woodpeckers, a brown creeper, Carolina wren, tree sparrow, chickadees, doves, titmice, and a ton of goldfinches and juncos. Most exciting are the blue jays (up to 20 at a time) and a pretty regular flock of cardinals. One day I counted at least 10, seven of which were males. There were probably more than 3 females disguised in the brush, but I only counted 3. Just a moment ago, there were 4 male cardinals sitting in a small oak tree in our yard (this didn’t last long).
