Word is that a reliable observer had a snowy owl fly in front of his car opposite the Agway in North Haverhill on Monday. An effort to find the bird yesterday was unsuccessful. There is large open farmland across from the Agway from which the bird was flying, and it continued down out of sight toward the Connecticut River.
