I ran into a nice warbler flock in between classes this morning. I spent half an hour watching the foraging birds move through the College Park woods, and saw the following:

Blue-headed Vireo 2

Cape May Warbler 2

Blackpoll Warbler 7

Pine Warbler 1

Yellow-rumped Warbler 1

Black-throated Green Warbler 2

It was nice to stumble upon all these warblers, and it was particularly nice to see some Cape Mays for probably the last time this fall. I’ll continue to check out these woods this fall in hopes of more serendipitous sightings!
