Senior Magnetic Design Engineer

Vishay-Hirel Systems, a leader in magnetic and power supply manufacturing for military, medical and avionics applications has retained our firm to recruit an engineer for their Seacoast New Hampshire facility.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this engineer would be responsible for magnetic design, primarily focused on custom transformers, inductors and coils. Additional responsibilities would include technical leadership in electrical, mechanical, thermal, and safety design.

Background/Experience
The successful candidate will have five plus years of experience in magnetic design and/or switch-mode power supply design. A BSEE is required. In addition, a working knowledge of Six Sigma and SPC requirements is essential.
Proficiency in conducting DFMEAs plus experience with 2D or 3D CAD software is necessary.

Compensation
The direct compensation for this position will be commensurate with background and experience. The firm offers a comprehensive and competitive fringe benefit program and a relocation package is available if necessary.
