DoseOptics is a Dartmouth Start-Up company funded with substantial government funding to develop a commercial prototype for imaging radiation therapy. The patented technology involves imaging with specialized intensified cameras, and custom display software, presenting the Radiation Oncology team with a view of the delivered treatment radiation beam on the patient's tissue.  The company works out of the Dartmouth Regional Technology Center as well as the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. There are two positions available:



Computer Vision Engineer: Computer engineer or computer vision programmer with interest or experience in image capture, image processing, instrumentation control and automated display. Experience or aptitude to work with various hardware and programming environments is essential, possibly including FPGA/VHDL, Labview, Matlab, Python. Experience or aptitude to work with machine vision software and cameras is essential. Experience or aptitude for camera systems, image acquisition & processing, display and software interface. VHDL or Labview programming essential.



Instrumentation Engineer: An electrical or instrumentation engineer is needed with interest or experience in image capture, image processing, instrumentation control, automated display and system integration and testing. Experience or aptitude to work with various hardware environments is essential, with strong aptitude for independent decision making.  Interest in a start up environment with a entrepreneurial spirit is desired, as the company is in a steady growth phase and adaptability to different work situations is essential.
