Dear friends and colleagues,

Join Food First as we experience Italy’s rich food culture and learn about the
movement for sustainable and just production of food through our Food
Sovereignty Tours. Nestled into the base of the Alps, the region of Piedmont
is deeply bound to traditional farming methods and cuisine. Delegates will
also attend Slow Food’s Terra Madre, an international conference that brings
farmers, policymakers, and activists together to discuss critical food policy
issues.

Dates: September 24 – October 3

For more info, see: http://foodfirst.org/piedmont-italy/

Food First has been travelling the world for over 30 years, working to end the
injustices that cause hunger. Our Food Sovereignty Tours take you to
international destinations to explore local food systems and their fight for
food sovereignty.

Upcoming delegations include:

Basque Country: Food Sovereignty, Cooperative Production, & the Solidarity
Economy
September 12 –21, http://foodfirst.org/basque-country-2015/

Cuba: Organic Revolution & Evolution
December 27 – January 4, http://foodfirst.org/cuba-may-2016/
