Mid morning today, a Common Tern was repeatedly flying around over the coves along the Connecticut River by Pompy Farms. Ed Hack and I watched it for a number of minutes but never saw it dive for food before it finally flew out of sight. apparently going downstream along the river.
In a continuation of the same birds present yesterday morning in the flooded field along Campbell Flats Road, a pair of Blue-winged Teal, an American Bittern, and a Lesser Yellowlegs were seen there this morning by us.
