As I was headed to class this afternoon, I was surprised to hear an early Pine Warbler singing from a stand of white pines along Tuck Mall on the Dartmouth campus. I didn’t have much time to spend looking for the bird, nor did I have binoculars or a camera with me, but that’s definitely what I heard. Tomorrow I’ll try to find the bird again.

Also, Bohemian Waxwings continue to hang around Dartmouth. I’ve had three sightings in the last two days.
