Just a reminder to all that Photo attachments (in fact, any attachments) are removed from postings to UV-Birders by the ListServ.

Attachments are blocked by policy because they are a common way to send computer viruses and other "malware." Because ListServs by their nature distribute e-mails to a large list of subscribers, they are seen as a great point of attack by people launching cyber attacks.

You'll need to post your photos to something like: your blog, a public space on your Facebook page, Flickr, etc., and then include the link in your post.

I realize this is an inconvenience, but it's the best way to keep UV-Birders from spreading malicious software to its subscribers.

Keep the great sightings coming!

Bill Schults

Several people said they couldn't see the photos I sent. I hope they came through this time?

I wanted to share the photos I just took of a Bald Eagle I saw 45 minutes ago perched on a post at the Shaker Bridge in Enfield before he/she flew off.

Happy Sunday,
